Release information...

This is the second release from STOCKED, however was planned to be the first so was still given the glorious cat # of STKD001-CS regardless. Unfortunately the blank cassettes didn't arrive in time for Vile Specimen's NSW tour in November 2012. There was even a "south-east-asia pre-release version" ltd to 20 copies with a knock up insert that was put together in haste for the Michael Crafter / Sweet Teeth S.E.A tour Dec 2012 / Jan 2013. The split tape was officially released in time for the Michael Crafter / Vile Specimen QLD tour Feb 2013.

About the bands...

MICHAEL CRAFTERs side of the tape delves into their rich history, taking songs from between 2009 and 2012. Probably best enjoyed by hardcore MC fans or mincecore enthusiasts, their latest release includes a new instrumental track, a couple of garage demos of old favourites, followed by an hilarious micro song marathon, featuring new and old tracks from all Crafter periods. See if you can guess the dudes from the samples...

On the flipside of the tape, VILE SPECIMEN present some of their most raging material yet. The 8 tracks are taken from a single recording session early in 2012, on the Sunshine Coast of QLD, and show cases a band hitting their prime with brutal force. Bleeding feedback, rabid blastbeats, hard as fuck break breakdowns, everything turned up to 11, these songs tear balls!
